A little about me and how I became...
Wayra Okatreya

I would like to share a little about me and how I found myself on this wonderful path of self-discovery.

With over 23 years of experience in Mental Health, I have witnessed various traditional methods fail to support people to navigate the shadows of their childhood wounds. I often noticed that these approaches offered only a glimpse into the deeper layers of their being. After finding myself at a crossroads in my career, I faced a huge decision: to return to uni for a deeper academic understanding of mental health conditions or to embrace a different path—one guided by my instincts, to explore new dimensions of healing.

Thankfully, I chose the latter, and found myself booking a small retreat in Bulgaria to learn Reiki. This one small change led me to The Shamanic Medicine Wheel. When I started introducing this way of being into my practice I instantly felt as though a beautiful light started to shine on the missing pieces of my clients’ healing journey. Through these Shamanic practices, I have been able to nurture and support others in gently connecting deeper with their wounds, inviting love and acceptance into those often-hidden corners of their souls, and facilitating the gentle release of what no longer serves them.

Through these beautiful healings methods, I discovered profound truths about myself and how to help others. This journey opened my heart to a greater sense of compassion and love and for this, I will be eternally grateful.

All my healing techniques are infused with love and intention.

If any of this resonates within your heart and you feel called to explore further, we warmly invite you to join us for a one-on-one healing session or come with three friends for one of our nurturing retreats. We will begin with a Zoom call, offering you the opportunity to see if this approach aligns with your souls journey.

Much Love

Wayra
